Anyone can lose their home, or be at risk of losing it.
Our Housing Options Team provides a quality service to customers who are either homeless or threatened with homelessness. The service includes:
• Providing advice and assistance with a variety of housing problems, such as landlord and tenant disputes and illegal evictions
• Providing information on finding somewhere to live
• Referring to a specialist agency if we are unable to help
• Helping to prevent homelessness by mediation and, in certain cases, by using our Bond Scheme
• Making arrangements for temporary accommodation, support and help with storage of furniture and pets, if we have a duty to do so

Please note that Green Vale Homes is responsible for running the Homelessness Service on behalf of Rossendale Borough Council until 2011. The Council still remains statutorily responsible for all homelessness, and our service is monitored by the Council to ensure that levels of service remain high.
