You can do this in person, by telephone, letter, email or via a third party. It is essential to record details of any incidents that occur, and you will be offered a neighbour nuisance diary to help you do this. The diary also gives contact names and numbers for our staff and police officers. All complaints will be investigated.
Response times are in line with three categories of nuisance
A - urgent: 1 working day
B - persistent nuisance: 3 working days
C - general/non-urgent: 10 working days
You can also report incidents of excessive and unreasonable nuisance on our new 24 hour, freephone out of hours anti-social behaviour hotline by calling freephone 0800 393634. Although this is not a call out service you will be able to speak to someone and leave details. You will receive general advice over the telephone.
We cannot tackle anti-social behaviour on our own. We work with other local agencies and organisations such as the police. We also rely on the support of residents, who have a key role in reporting and documenting problems. Together we can make a difference!
