Extra Care Housing offers older people, who are frailer or disabled, their own home, together with the help they need to stay independent.
Our Extra Care Housing schemes are made up of self contained flats with other facilities all under one roof. Everything has been carefully designed to suit older people. Care and support services are also on site and are provided to help people manage in their own home. This means that most people can continue to live in their own flat even if they are quite frail or become more dependent over time.
There is also the additional re-assurance of our care line service which is available to tenants 24hours a day so help is never far away.
We currently have three Extra Care Housing schemes:-
- Clement Court in West Central Halifax
- Mytholm Meadows (right image) in HebdenBridge.
- Willow Court, Victoria Road, Elland
New Willow Court images. Scheme opened on December 17th 2009 and is now fully occupied.
