Trans-Pennine Housing is made up of three not-for-profit companies, which are registered with the Tenant Services Authority:
- the parent company, Trans-Pennine Housing,
- and two members: Green Vale Homes and ourselves Pennine Housing 2000.
The Trans-Pennine Housing group is a leading provider of quality, modern and affordable homes for rent based in the North of England. The Group was formed as recently as 27th March 2006 but combines several decades of skills and experience in the social housing sector.
Each company is run by a voluntary board and together, as customer focused registered social landlords, we aim to “provide affordable homes and services that people want.” Working in partnership under Trans-Pennine allows the group to provide the benefits and economies of value and capacity that a large organisation brings, whilst allowing each company to retain a strong local identity and have high levels of local autonomy and control.
In total, the group owns and manages around 15,500 properties, ranging from one-bed apartments to family accommodation and sheltered housing for older people.
