Tenant Services Authority - The National Conversation

Standards of homes and services provided by ourselves and other housing associations across the country are to be set by a new authority. The Tenant Services Authority (TSA) has been formed as a watchdog covering all housing associations.

Top of its action list is to draw up a new set of standards covering homes and services provided by landlords like Pennine.
It will watch how we match up to the demands - and take action against any landlords who fail to make the grade.

Earlier this year, The TSA asked tenants of social landlords what was most important in the services that landlords provide. The first phase of the national conversation took place between January and March 2009 and the results proved very interesting. The draft standards have been designed around what tenants said.

The second phase of the National conversation was took place over the summer of 2009, Pennine tenants along with tenants from all other social landlords, were asked to comment on the draft standards. These have been fed back to the TSA.

The standards were published by the TSA in November 2009. For details please click on the link below
